Christmas Celebration Graced by Walliscote Primary School Children
Ambleside residents were treated to a festive delight as the children of Walliscote Primary School brought the spirit of Christmas alive with their heart-warming carol performance. The annual Christmas carol event was nothing short of magical, with children singing a medley of holiday classics that had the audience cheering and singing along. The joy and enthusiasm were palpable as the children, dressed as Santa, elves, and other festive characters, filled the air with melodies and holiday cheer.
The event was made even more vibrant by the presence of a little Santa Claus, an elf, and a dedicated team of helpers who added to the festive atmosphere. Residents, staff and children alike danced, sang, and enjoyed a wonderful time together, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.
After the carol singing, the children were treated to delicious snacks, including warm hot chocolate with marshmallows. Their faces lit up with joy as they received small gift hampers, expressing heartfelt thanks to the Home for the generosity and hospitality. The teachers who accompanied the children were equally touched by the warm welcome and the thoughtful arrangements made by the residents.
The festivities didn’t end with the carol singing. Residents’ personal favourite songs were played, leading to more singing, dancing, and games. The event concluded with a fun-filled photo session and more treats and drinks for everyone, including the residents’ families.
