Our Nursing Home in Weston-Super-Mare

Ambleside Nursing Home offers a range of services from specialist nursing care, short stay respite breaks, and tailored dementia care. Based in Weston-Super-Mare, the care home has a dedicated team who work closely with residents and their families to provide person-centered care that is compassionate and professional. Our aim is to provide the best care possible for our residents here at Ambleside.

Ambleside Nursing Home is conveniently located close to the town centre with good road links, and just a short distance from Weston-Super-Mare train station as well as accessible on various bus routes so family and friends can easily visit their loved ones.

About Ambleside Nursing Home

Activities

We have an amazing team who organise a whole variety of different activities to keep our residents stimulated, from live music to arts and crafts and baking.

Our location means that we can also regularlytake our residents on days out outside of the home from visiting local cafes and fish and chip shops, to trips to the farm, days out at the beach and more. You can stay up to date with our recent activities here

Our Rooms

We have 19 well appointed rooms where each resident gets mobile phone access in their own room, own television each and internet access. We have spacious living areas such as the lounge and dining room.

Balanced Diets

We believe in delicious home-cooked food, attentive service and understanding what each resident enjoys. Our chef prepares home-made food on the premises and delights in seeing the residents enjoy their food. We use fresh and natural produce for all meals which are sourced from local suppliers. We provide a nutritionally balanced, tasty variety of food with attractive presentation. Residents are encouraged to express their food preferences as there is always a choice.  Additionally, tea and coffee is always available.
